Alright, that is a terrible title but at least it's fun? Anyway, this week has been quite a busy week, I haven't got a lot to show on the robot as I've been UV unwrapping it for the last few days but it's coming along nicely! I've also been working on my clown car and subsequent clown in which I've been learning Renderman 21. I had an initial problem with the car which caused this effect when rendering:

For some reason it wouldn't smooth despite in Maya it having the smooth mesh preview on (which worked for other meshes I created to test it). The solution to the problem was to just export the car as an Obj. and re-import it (the classic solution when working with Maya) which worked!

So here is the car so far, starting to add in materials to it! Looking good! Next jobs for it are to make an inside and then smash it up.
The clown is coming along really well! I've added hair, UV unwrapped and textured it and rigged it (using the human IK in Maya to save time as it's going to be a still)

The mesh (I've since made the bow tie slightly larger and added eyelids)
